In order to provide a reliable, value added link with Customs, Clerkware Canada Inc. has established a Service Bureau. A comprehensive array of file transfer protocols has been assembled to provide secure electronic data interchange with a wide variety of systems.
We recommend that all new CADEX and ACROSS participants use the Clerkware Canada Service Bureau (CCSB), at least through the testing and early production phases in order to take advantage of the enhanced support capabilities that this method offers. Errors and omissions can be easily located and reported and with the consent of the participant, fixed by qualified Service Bureau staff.
The CCSB provides ACROSS releases, CADEX transaction responses and status reports via the INTERNET using login/password access to client pages. These pages are updated at 10 minute intervals to insure that accurate and current information is available.
The CCSB distributes updates to currency exchange rates and the Customs tariff as Revenue Canada provides them. These updates are posted to subscriber's data bases automatically. All subscribers are assured of having current and accurate source files to work from.
Service Bureau Initiation Fees
These fees cover installation, setup, training and support through the CADEX and ACROSS testing phases.

Transaction fees are charged per CADEX entry or ACROSS release. Discounts may apply
depending on your monthly volume. If a quote is desired, we will require an
estimate of your annual volume of transactions.
A minumum monthly fee of 100.00 applies when transaction fees total less than 100.00.
